First Reconciliation preparation begins with a parents' meeting on September 20,
2009 at our Growing in Faith Together (G.I.F.T.) Kick-Off event. The event
is from 5-7:30, the Sacramental preparation information will be the last half
hour. Preparation for the Sacrament of Reconciliation concludes
with a communal reconciliation service on Thursday, December 17, 2009 from
7-8:30. After receiving Reconciliation, families typically begin preparation for
First Eucharist from January-April (see the Eucharist tab for more information).
First Reconciliation typically takes place in the second grade.

All are invited to Monday evening classes at Pax from either
4:45-5:45 pm or 6:30-7:30 pm. It is especially important for public school families to
attend these sessions.
In
addition,
attendance is essential at:
-
monthly
Growing in Faith Together (G.I.F.T.) inter-generational experiences.
-
a mini-retreat for candidates and parents on Saturday,
November 21, 2009
from 9-12:30.
-
the communal reconciliation service on Thursday,
December 17, 2009 from 7-8:30.
